Stacy Grimes

Stacy is a Texas native who graduated from Cypress Creek High School in 1987. She attended Sam Houston State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1991. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology in 1994. While working on her master’s degree, Stacy was awarded an internship at Gulf Pines Psychiatric Hospital and held a Teaching Assistant position for the Introduction to Psychology course at Sam Houston State University.

Stacy started her career in public education at Spring ISD in 1994.  She obtained her license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in 1995. Stacy worked as an LSSP in Spring ISD from 1995-2005.  This position involved working with students who had various emotional disturbances and those diagnosed with autism.

Stacy worked primarily with adolescents, their teachers, school staff and parents to address emotional, social, academic and behavioral issues. This included psychological evaluations, consultations with outside professionals, counseling, implementing behavior management techniques, formulating educational plans and goals. Stacy also served on the district crisis response team.

Since 2005, Stacy has devoted her time to raising her two children.  Stacy had an active role in Wildwood Christian Academy and served on the school Board for two years.  Stacy resides in Magnolia, Texas with her husband and two children.
