About the Program

Thrive Physical Education is an academic program designed to teach motor skills, health, and overall fitness through structured physical activity, including sports and exercise. The curriculum focuses on the development of fundamental skills across a wide range of sports and movement activities. Students also learn essential game rules and concepts.
In addition, the program promotes positive social interaction, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-control. The students work through a variety of units of study that allow them to learn fundamental skills. Some of the units of study include bowling, soccer, dance, kickball, bicycle and road safety. The overall goal of Thrive PE is to help students build confidence, develop motivation, and cultivate lifelong healthy habits.
