Thrive Center for Success’ Charter School Philosophy
At Thrive, we know that children with autism learn best when they are supported emotionally, academically, and socially. Our charter school philosophy is grounded in:
Low student-to-teacher ratios
for personalized instruction
Highly trained staff
with expertise in autism education
Customized academic pathways
to meet students where they are
Personalized Programs
Thrive Accomodates All Levels Of The Autism Spectrum
We offer tailored support through three programs; Academics, Transitions, & Foundations, addressing the specific needs of individual students.
Academics
Learners demonstrate the potential for success with grade-level academics through TEKS-focused, individualized programming. They benefit from partner work and small-group instruction and are prepared to engage in whole-group learning.
Transitions
Introduces TEKS-based academic learning while providing appropriate supports and interventions. Learners are most successful with modified and differentiated individualized programming, benefit from independent learning, and are ready to participate in small-group instruction.
Foundations
Focuses on developing foundational skills such as verbal communication and attention that support readiness for academic learning. Learners benefit from a highly structured environment and require intensive, individualized programming with a modified academic curriculum.
