Bob Milner
An Air Force veteran and serial entrepreneur, Bob and his wife Teresa live in The Woodlands, TX along with their three rescue dogs. They have four children and two grandchildren.
He holds an MBA in Operations Management, Post-Graduate Certificates in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management, Family Enterprises and Family Office Wealth Management from Columbia Business School, and an Executive Certificate in Blue Ocean Strategic Planning from INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France.
A sought-after speaker at veterans’ entrepreneurship conferences and Fortune 500 events, Bob frequently speaks on entrepreneurial startups, operations, organizational strategy, and organizational culture. In semi-retirement, he serves as the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program and Co-Director of the Center for Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship at Sam Houston State University. He also serves as a Special Assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer for special projects and commercialization, and as Co-Lead for the SHSU NASA Tech Transfer Commercialization Program. Additionally, he is a global facilitator and keynote speaker for Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families.
Bob has served on numerous for-profit and nonprofit boards since 2013, holding roles including Chairperson, VP of the Finance Committee, VP of the Audit Committee, VP of the Strategic Planning Committee, and VP of the Executive Committee.
He was elected to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors in 2019 to represent local residents. A finalist for the 2017 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Bob and his wife are active philanthropic leaders in their community.
He is the Founder and Chairman of TerBo Enterprises, Inc., a multi-business holding company with 390 team members and over $500 million in annual revenue. He is also a graduate of the Accenture Executive Leadership Development Program and the Thayer Executive Leadership Development Program at West Point Military Academy.
His awards include the 2017 The Woodlands Hometown Hero Award, the 2017 VEL Institute Legacy Award for service and commitment to veterans, and the 2018 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Lifetime Achievement Honoree recognition for his support in helping fight childhood diseases.
