Frequently Asked Questions About Thrive Charter School
Questions & Answers
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Thrive Center for Success, we understand that families often have questions about how a tuition-free autism-focused charter school in Magnolia, TX works. Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions to help you navigate the admission and enrollment process.
A charter school is a public school that is tuition-free and open to all students who meet state eligibility requirements. Like traditional public schools, charter schools are funded by the state and must follow state education laws. Admission Application: Families complete the Charter Student Admission Application (CSAA) during the open application period.
Enrollment: After a student is offered and accepts a seat, families submit additional documents (health records, academic records, proof of residency, etc.).
If the number of applications exceeds available seats, Thrive conducts a public lottery as required by Texas law. The 2026–2027 lottery will take place on February 6, 2026. Students not selected will be placed on a waitlist in the order drawn.
