Mary Elizabeth Mueller
brings over 20 years of experience in the field of education to Thrive Center for Success. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 2002 and began her career in early childhood education, teaching Pre-Kindergarten and later advancing into school leadership as a Director of Operations for a preschool program.
Mary Elizabeth transitioned into public education with Conroe Independent School District, where she served for 10 years in a variety of specialized instructional roles, including Inclusion Teacher, Reading Interventionist, and Behavior Interventionist. Throughout this time, she developed a strong foundation in differentiated instruction, data-driven intervention, and inclusive practices designed to support diverse learners.
In 2017, Mary Elizabeth entered the charter school sector and played a key role in the opening of the Sam Houston State University Charter School campus in The Woodlands. During her seven years with the district, she served as a 1st Grade Teacher, Lead Teacher, and Curriculum Specialist, contributing to campus growth, instructional alignment, and teacher development.
Mary Elizabeth is a strong advocate for charter schools and believes deeply in their ability to provide free, high-quality, and specialized educational opportunities tailored to meet the individual needs of every student. She is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments that support academic achievement, social growth, and long-term success.
She resides in Spring, Texas, with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
