Thrive Accomodates All Levels Of The Autism Spectrum

We offer tailored support through three programs; Academics, Transitions, & Foundations, addressing the specific needs of individual students.

Academics

Learners demonstrate the potential for success with grade-level academics through TEKS-focused, individualized programming. They benefit from partner work and small-group instruction and are prepared to engage in whole-group learning.

Transitions

Introduces TEKS-based academic learning while providing appropriate supports and interventions. Learners are most successful with modified and differentiated individualized programming, benefit from independent learning, and are ready to participate in small-group instruction.

Foundations

Focuses on developing foundational skills such as verbal communication and attention that support readiness for academic learning. Learners benefit from a highly structured environment and require intensive, individualized programming with a modified academic curriculum.

What Parents Say

Ethan Garcia

Ethan has attended this school since the beginning and it has been an answer to prayers!

Parents of special needs children are often made to feel like their children are burdens at traditional public schools. This is no fault of the teachers or children — it’s just difficult to unlock why a child, especially a neurodivergent child, is reacting to different sounds/situations.

This school trains its staff to identify how best to communicate to the student with low teacher student ratios. We need many more schools just like Thrive and I hope you will be an advocate for our children who just need help unlocking their potential.

Ife and Ini Atandeyi

To our family, Thrive means hope, safety, and true belonging. With two sons on the spectrum, we rarely felt welcomed or understood—until Thrive. After a harrowing experience when our son wandered off a public school campus unnoticed, we knew we needed something different.

Getting into Thrive felt like the clouds parted and let the sun through. This school has kept its promise of individualized, high-quality education and continues to exceed our expectations. Their commitment to safety is second to none, our boys' abilities are celebrated, and they are eager to go to school each day.

Thrive is full of everyday superheroes changing lives—and our children have truly thrived because of them.

Lorenzo and Paulo Alatorre

Since you were little, we knew you were special. After countless meetings with teachers, therapists, neurologists, and doctors, we were left feeling lost and desperate. We tried everything in search of the right place for you.

While waiting for our visa to be approved, I came across a word on a website that made my heart leap—THRIVE. As I read about Elizabeth Goldsmith and her conviction as a mother to provide children with autism high-quality therapies and education in one setting, tears came to my eyes. There was a place where you could be accepted, safe, and happy—where your true potential could shine. We arrived in Houston filled with hope.

When we toured the school, our hearts stopped, knowing this would be your school home. We thanked God for opening this long-awaited door. At last, we knew you were going to THRIVE.
